ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MINUTES 2017
The meeting was called to order on April 18, 2017 at 13:00 hrs.

- Notice of Annual General Meeting sent to members
- Motion to accept the minutes of previous AGM with additions as shown on amended AGM Minutes 2016 – John Deacon / Roger Denis – Carried
Executive Reports
- Treasurer – Ian Seymour presented Financial Report with review by Roger Dennis. Motion to accept by Ian Seymour / Eric Sawyer – Carried
- Course Coordinator – Tom Boomer reported that Carman and Elm Creek are new courses and that Pinawa was dropped due to food issues. Carman is being monitoured due to flooding and if there is a rainout, Pinawa may be reconsidered. Teulon has a private caterer.
- Tournament Chair – Dennis Nelson introduced the new members and the group coordinators and advised that lists were required to be submitted 10 days before a tournament.
- Membership – John Deacon reported that 23 members had not renewed, 12 new members joined and total membership was 196.
- Scores, Handicaps & Awards – Jeff Wignall explained the changes in points for handicaps giving members a better chance to win, and explained to new members how a handicap is credited after 5 games.
New Business
- Presentation by Bill Treytiak for 2 man alternative shot completion
- Website Presentation by John Deacon
- New Business – Wally Zapisocki suggested that the names of deceased members should be read at the AGM. Matter referred to the Executive.
Presentation of Life Membership – Steve Mate
- Life Member Award – Bernie Bourret, Art Buckley, Dave Dryborough, Dave Friesen, Earl Girard, Doug Powell, Bob Schween, Bert Wold, Wally Zapisocki and Ken Bracken
Nomination Committee – Tom Boomer

No further nominations being received the motion to accept the nominations as presented was moved by Tom Boomer and seconded by John Deacon – Carried
Presentations
- Steve Mate presented Distinguished Service Award Certificate to Tom Boomer, President in 2015-2016
- Steve Mate presented a jacket to Eric Nazar as President elect
- Eric Nazar presented Distinguished Service Award Certificate to Steve Mate, outgoing President
